| West Medicine Lake Community Club A Focus on Healthy Living | | Our new philosophy of “a back to the basics” approach to health starts in our local community; we hope it speaks to you.
In the last 20 years, there has been an undeniably dramatic rise in obesity. Obesity is related to many health conditions, including heart disease, stroke, and Type 2 diabetes. Medical costs related to these conditions are also rising. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) estimates that more than one-third (1/3) of US adults are now obese. Physical inactivity is directly related to obesity.
WMLCC intends to encourage community recreation and physical activity through dance and other forms of exercise and encourage overall healthy living through community education, programs, and activities. A “back to the basics” approach to health starts in our local community.
We invite you to be part of an organization that supports healthy living, community recreation, volunteer opportunities, and much more. Your membership enables the West Medicine Lake Community Club to expand programs to meet the growing needs of our community, offer additional benefits to its members and provide affordable recreation, entertainment, and education for the entire community. | | Our Mission | | Encourage overall healthy living through education, programs, community recreation, and activities. | | The History of WMLCC | | WMLCC has been a part of the Plymouth community for over 50 years. Providing a place for families and friends to gather and recreate.
In recent years WMLCC has changed focus to more charitable goals of encouraging overall healthy living through education, programs, community recreation, and activities.

| | President's Message: | Happy New Year 2023 | | Happy New Year everyone. 2022 was like coming to the end of a long roller coaster ride, but thanks to our generous donors and members we have made it through the year ok. Classes have resumed, fundraisers were held, and we continue to work on improving and renovating the building inside and out.
We are looking forward to adding more sparkle to a brand new year. | |
